Review BEAT 185 CD Less MP3, Front USB, Aux In, SD, RDS Tuner Digital Media Receiver

Good little number!
Recieved and installed without any issues. The manual could be clearer, but any tech-minded people should get the jist of it. Also comes with a handly little remote which I didn't expect. seems to handle any bitrate mp3's, unlike my last stereo, not tested m4a or wma files on it yet though. only small gripe is that SD/USB mode does not have the ability to skip between...

pretty average
Easy to install. Sound is pretty good. SD doesn't list albums so all the tracks just follow each other. Worst of all if you put it on random it plays the same tracks it did last time it was on.

jvc head unit.
Great upgrade from the factory fitted radio. looks good and sounds really good. Great value for money. I would happily recomend this head unit to others. Was easy to fit and i can now use my ipod in the car. Made a nice change from fitting a Kenwood.

hmmmmm.......
not sure about this. Have just returned it asking for replacement. (Amazon their usual thoroughly efficient self, thanks). I think the quality of the CD and aux output is ok in our car and has improved the speaker output. BUT - its taken me an age to work the stupid screen out. I can't get the radio stations to store despite hours of tinkering and web searching. I also...

Review Kenwood KDC-455UW MP3/WMA/AAC/CD-Receiver with Front AUX/USB Music Inputs and iPod/iPhone Control

Fantastic Product!
I highly recommend this product, I spent ages searching for a radio that had iPhone control that was compatible with my iPhone 4, the only ones I could find were over £200, this is a steal at this price! The compatibility works very well and it's very simple to change the control between the iPod and the car radio, this makes it very handy if you are driving as you can...

Disappointed
Its ok but for the original price I thought that it would be great. No real control over the song playlist when using a memory stick but apart from that it's just ok!!!

Reviews Sony CDX-GT450U CD/Mp3 Head Unit with Front USB and Aux-in

Thursday, June 21, 2012 | 0 comments

Bought this for a replacement for a cheap as chips unit that was in the car when I bought it (Focus). I'm not technically minded and wanted something easy and easy to use. Well this has met and exceeded expectations with good, easy to sue USB input and superb sound quality - even from the basic Ford speakers. Unit looks and feels good and took minutes to install - almost embarassingly easy. Happy to recommend this................

Review TOKAI Autoradio MP3/USB/SD LAR-71

great replacement for your cd/cassette player
Tokai Lar-71 is a great replacement for your car if you still have cassette player fitted,

easy to use, controls are obvious, and you can benefit from the 4x40 W output which is more than enough for any car I think.
Also great option to have both USB and SD-card reader on the unit.
Who's writing mp3 or audio cd's these days anyway??? Copy your...

Great little stereo only 1 draw back
got this stereo to replace old one in my car, very very easy to instal took about 2-5mins. The reason I got this was for the usb no more looking for Cds and no more Cd skipping every time I hit a pot hole, so all good apart from if your music is not Mp3 file it wont pick it up on your memory stick. I have about 20 albums on my stick and can only listern to about 10?, if...

Review Beat 175 Car Deckless Head Unit Ipod Aux In SD Memory Card RDS Tuner Player Headunit Stereo

Good riddance to CDs
A very good product at an amazingly low price. CDs are not ideally suited for playing in equipment that gets jarred and shaken around, so it makes sense to banish them from head units and use solid state memory instead. This unit has four inputs: radio, line in, an SC card slot and a USB socket for a thumb drive. I find the SD card slot meets all my needs, since a cheap...
